DAVID JENKIN – MANAGING DIRECTOR

David Jenkin is the founder of Global Risk Consulting and offers consultancy services such as Occupational Safety & Health Management, Risk Management and various Compliance Audits. He has had an extensive global career working with large enterprises such as Fluor, Nomad Building Solutions, Consolidated Minerals, MacMahon, Henry Walker Eltin, Alcan Gove, Comalco, Millenium Chemicals, Hamesley Iron and many others. In order to work at such a high level in these organisations David required a high level of flexibility and commitment along with high level analytical, problem solving and communication skills to assist in achieving the organisational and corporate strategic plans and objectives. Prior to launching Global Risk Consulting, David worked as HSE Director – Asia Pacific, with Fluor, where he provided leadership and strategic direction towards achieving excellence and continuous improvement in health, safety and environment throughout the Asia Pacific region. Also supporting the senior management group to ensure compliance with HSE legislative and business requirements as well as maintaining communications and consultation with clients and stakeholders. In his previous roles his leadership and management skills have been utilised to lead, develop, coach and mentor dynamic teams of Health and Safety professionals along with site Emergency Fire & Rescue Teams and Site Security. David is not only the consummate professional, but also very down to earth and easily approachable.
