Occupational Safety & Health

Systems, Policies & Procedures Development and Implementation

It is essential for all businesses to have a system in place to manage the Safety + Health of employees and contractors. Each States Work Health and Safety Legislation requires employers to provide a safe workplace. The development and implementation of an Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) is a widely recognized tool used to manage in part this obligation. It also helps to ensure that both management and employees understand their responsibilities and demonstrates legal compliance.

Global Risk can work with you to develop a new Safety + Health system based on your existing procedures or create new procedures to fill any gaps. To be effective, the Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) policies and procedures should be specific for your business and provide straightforward methods for dealing with Occupational Safety and Health issues as they arise.

It will identify most common Hazards + Risks in the workplace or on particular work sites and develop a plan of attack (including training) to reduce them.
